Honeymoon cruise to the Panama Canal looking for the Aruba, Curacao island experience as well as the history and engineering of the old Canal. Pretty quick embarkation with our specific times assigned, cursory glance at Vax card along with passport. Immediate trip to lunch in Lido and sunny sail out of port with two other ships trailing us.
First stop in Bahamas for a beach day after the canceled kayak outing. Skipped the on island lunch for a return to the ship for burgers around the pool. The small rentable cabins didn't look worth the high price tags asked but the lobster lunch might have been a worthwhile luxury.
Aruba an interesting island with historic harbor and had a trip around the island to see the poor side of town and the Hotel & Casino side of the island and beaches.
Balcony on level 5 above the boats. Very comfortable large bed with great steward service twice every day. Morning coffee delivered for inroom or balcony start on the day. Eggs Benedict perfect breakfast start and uncrowded Lido with sooo many breakfast choices. Bathroom shower in full tub with enough space and soap dispensers. Hanging room for clothes and desk and small couch for sitting. Two chairs and foot rests on balcony. Enjoyed the room and balcony during the Canal passage.
