Jewel of the Seas had such low rates we decided to work it in between our other Royal Caribbean cruises and were so glad we did! The ship was in excellent space, carpets, furnishings had a new feel to them. Service was outstanding, even the maintenance workers who do not come in contact that often with passengers were awesome and friendly. The ship had a very happy feel to it. The evening entertainment was wonderful and varied. Food was excellent and abundant, the crew were always willing to give you more or something different. We enjoyed every moment onboard this classic, sleek ship. Embarkation and dis-embarkation was a breeze. Global Airport/Premier Cruise Parking was excellent, very low rates, safe and quick shuttles to and from ship. There were 3 of us and Royal Caribbean reservation agent was able to get us 2 balcony cabins instead of 1 for just $22 which I highly recommend when this is available. We had booked our covid test with CVS, 2 came back negative, we waited for the 3rd, it finally came back at 6:30am on the morning of embarkation as cancelled. Apparently an error in the lab, so we took the covid test at the pier for 1 of us with results in 10 minutes. I cannot recommend CVS because of this. However the covid test at the pier should only be done in emergency situations such as this. I would not hesitate in a minute sailing again on Jewel of the Seas
