Traveled with children

1st let me start by saying we were scammed by having a $300 bill end up on our account for our 2 kids, we were told to have them tested 72hrs within departure time which we did and then arrived to port to where we were told kids need to be tested again and it was free and of no charge because we had our test results within the 72hrs from our doctor, they lied and then put it in small writing with no one mentioning it or even highlighting that we were going to be billed @$150 Per Kid. We wouldn’t have went on the cruise and demanded a refund especially when we wasn’t even on the correct cruise and got a new itinerary saying we was going to Bahamas instead of Mexico…Bahamas is nice and all but that’s like going to six flags instead of Disney and not getting a reduced price refund back for what you paid for! Food was mediocre every night was the same foods and for us to be sailing in the Caribbean under “carnival” no Caribbean food was served. Breakfast did not include bacon only 1 out of the 5 days I seen bacon but it ran out quickly…drink packages did not work on “their” private island the same private island they own and their workers work on that made us pay for drinks…on royal Caribbean this would not have happen at all!!! I can under stand at the main island but private island should be included…. Also was charged for drinks by room service which seems not to be included although you paid for a drink package which is weird because the food is free but they charge you $2.50 for drinks… not many places to get juice or sodas at night is no machines can only get from bar which closes at certain time and rooms do not contain drinks in the refrigerator. 2 Small pools and one seem to be out of service one of the days! People with kids that they made pay $150 per Covid test had to stay on the boat while docked at islands they closed down all the stores and arcades so it was nothing to do with our kids but stare at the sky all day until it was time to depart when passengers got back on the boat. Steak house food was not that great no taste and was not cooked to my liking after 2 try’s I gave up…they don’t offer refills on drinks as they see it go low which would not have happen on royal Caribbean. No way to communicate with front desk as I kept having card issues and the ap does not let you write them or communicate in any way…the Wi-Fi is just terrible don’t waste $60 for it. Child care services were not available for the 3-11 age group only the 12-17 age group which made no sense

Cabin Review

Cabin was nice size and Raymund was nice that’s only good thing about the cruise from what I can tell we came back to a clean room after a horrible day on carnival
