This ship just got a “refurb” of sorts. It had pretty new paint and evidently, that’s about it. This ship feels super dated. Our room and the dining room had old 1990s pink trim everywhere. We stayed in room 8430, right under the rear pool on the Lido deck. While we didn’t have any pool noise, every single stupid night we woke up to the sound of scraping chairs from about 2-4am. Being right underneath, we heard every scrape, every clunk. It made us wonder how in the world you could scoot chairs so much and how much freaking noise they made! Even with a sound machine and earplugs, we still couldn’t sleep through it.

Most staff were friendly, though our room person was not always the most punctual or thorough. There were drips from a daiquiri in our bathroom that was there the entire trip.

Food got boring really quickly. Dining room service was SUPER slow. Food quality in dining room was decent. For breakfast our last morning we dined in. I waited 25 minutes for my coffee to be refilled (we didn’t see a waiter for this entire time). Lido buffet was boring and small and unsavory. We dreaded eating the food and were tired of it after the first day. The pizzas were a consistent good choice from rear of deck 9.

Cabin Review

Pink trim and dated feeling.
