I never cruised Carnival and dont think I will again. The one positive experience was the ship staff! These people work their tails off and are SO helpful and so nice!!! I hope they are paid well because if it weren't for them, this review would be a 1 or less!

Food - Horrible! I was going to eat a specialty restaurants on board, but my first few meals at the buffet made me think that it would not be worth the extra money! Breakfast - the EXACT same food day after day and not much in the way of variety. Bacon (if they even had it) was less than paper thin; scrambled eggs were so watery you needed a spoon; pastries where store bought, dry and hard as a rock. My friend was disgusted and threw one on his plate and the pastry shattered into pieces! Oatmeal was soup, ham was so dry it was hard to chew. Lunch and dinner were both bland. Any meat that was present was so fatty and chewie. Limited on choices also. Deserts - Limited and the cakes looked beautiful until you put in your month to find it was like saw-dust - DRY. Needed lots of milk to wash down. 24-hour pizza.... Would not call a paper thin tasteless dough with a spoon full of sauce on a small pizza with a couple blobs of what I would not call chesse, a pizza! Pepperoni tasted old and stale. SO, food was not good at all!

Do NOT put a dime into the casino. I know what you're saying, why even play. Casinos are in the business of making money, right? Oh right! I play in many different casinos and here is Carnival's trick. The first one or maybe two nights, its far and you may break even or lose a bit or even come out ahead, but then you will notice (on the slots) the trick of the wheels. Say you're playing a 5 or 6 wheel slot. The first of the wheels (first on the the left) will display the same 9 out of ten times. The games we were playing first wheel would show Bell, Cherry, Bell 9 out of 10 times. This went on the same for the rest of the cruise. As we stood and watched others play the machines we were playing, it continued to be that way every night. There is NO way you could win with the wheels preset to that configuration. A man from the casino stopped by to ask how we were and I pointed this out to him and showed him what I was talking about. He smiled nicely, said "have a good evening" and walked away! Completely rigged! Dont be fooled by the first or second nite. Stay clear all together!
