Background Information:

This was my 39th cruise -- and boy, does it feel great to get back to cruising! I traveled with my husband and two daughters who were in their 20s. We have traveled previously on Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Carnival, Celebrity, Holland America and Azamara. On Royal Caribbean, we are Diamond members. This was my 2nd Anthem cruise.

Cabin Review

Cabins 10678 & 10680 -- good sized veranda staterooms with ample storage.

Port Reviews

Bayonne (Cape Liberty)

Easy access from the NY area.

Nassau

Right now, they are reconstructing the pier to fit 12 ships, so there will be a lot of jackhammers around. We took a taxi to the beach at Baha Mar -- we were the only cruise ship passengers on that beach. Highly recommend!

Perfect Day at CocoCay

Everything you need is right there. Not being thrill seekers, we chilled out at Chill Island, which is a lovely beach with a nearby bar and restaurant. My husband did the scuba diving tour, which he enjoyed. Food choices have improved at the Chill Grill, which now includes pre=made salads, tacos, Cuban sandwiches and cheesesteaks.

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Very clean, modern facility. Our cousins in Florida came and picked us up, so we did not do any excursions.
