We sailed to Dominican Republic and Princess Cays on this 5-day cruise. We had cabin C410 (a mini-suite).

The two-site snorkel in the Dominican Republic was fun. Even saw a 3’ nurse shark while snorkeling. It was an hour bus ride out, then a catamaran filled only to one third capacity back.

Princess Cays actually had the single worst lunch we’ve ever experienced during a cruise (cold hamburger and a cookie). They also shut down the right half of the beach, so we couldn’t go walking farther down the beach like we usually do there. However, again, the snorkeling was fun. Saw a 4’ ray just off the beach.

Cabin Review

C410 was a nice mini suite with an oversized balcony, facing toward the front. We loved it!

Port Reviews

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

Well developed port with a nice pool area and a shorter zip line. Very safe to walk around. For those interested in activities, would recommend taking an excursion. We loved the two site catamaran snorkeling excursion. Very nice long boat ride back with the wind.
