We choose this cruise because I have family down in New Orleans, and we really wanted to get back onboard. Everyone in our party got vaccinated before this cruise in order to go on Carnival, and this cruise made getting vaccinated worth it. It was just a short cruise to Cozumel, Mexico and back to New Orleans. My dad and I went scuba diving in Cozumel. We did a two tank dive through CozuDive, and it was so unbelievable. We have gone scuba diving in Cozumel before, although this time we got to go through caves and coral walls which was jaw dropping. The rest of my family enjoyed the ship and the large shopping area Carnival Corporation has a Puerta Maya. Just this one port stop was lots of fun and really memorable. We had a total of two "Fun Days at Sea" and that they were. The Carnival Valor is full of fun activities to do all day. The Carnival Valor is also equipped with so many dining options that make my mouth to saliva just writing about it. My favorite is Guy's Burger Joint, although everything else was really good. For dinner, we ate in the main dining rooms for all night time meals except for one time when we went to Scarlet's Steakhouse, which I say the extra cost is worth it for the quantity and super high quality of the food served.

Cabin Review

Our room was always clean thanks to our room steward Ida. The room was great, large, spacious, and a good fit for us as a family. I recommend everyone to get a balcony or above.

Cozumel

We went scuba diving there with CozuDive. This was one of my favorite memories and the water and coral formations are really beautiful.
