We originally chose this cruise because both ports had scuba diving excursions & figured a shorter cruise was better for getting started cruising again. The crew was so happy to be back to work & made you feel you were very important to them. They cheered all coming on & every one we encountered was wonderful, all wait staff, room stewards, bartenders, etc.

This was our 1st time on a ship as large as the Regal Princess and 1st time having the cabin on such a high deck. As it turned out it was not a problem with either...just more walking than usual. We only had about 1300 people on a ship that holds thousands more so that was pretty nice.

It was much easier both getting off & on the ship than before & really liked that. One of the Covid changes included specific times for everyone which certainly held down the crowding. Another is you no longer have people asking you over & over to buy a drink package, photos, jewelry, art, etc.

Cabin Review

Penthouse Suite with Balcony

Beautifully appointed, spotless, good closet space, two room bathroom with tub, shower, & vanity in one with a separate vanity & toilet in the other. The bed is comfortable but the couch & chairs in the living room were very uncomfortable but looked nice. The balcony was very small as if you sat in one of the chairs your knees were against the glass & I am not tall at all.

Port Reviews

Costa Maya

My husband & his dive buddy said the diving was just okay & they wouldn't dive there again. Us wives just walked around the small port area for about 35 minutes.
