This was my first cruise I've ever taken and I was blown away. This cruise exceeded all of my expectations. I was really nervous about being on a ship for 11 days for fear of seasickness and it was never a problem. One of the days we couldn't go into port because there were 50 mph winds and the boat rocked a little but I never actually got sick.

The ship itself is massive and even after 11 days there were parts of the ship I was finding that I'd never seen. I think the ship was close to 40% occupancy and I don't think I had to wait for anything the entire time. The COVID related procedures were well explained ahead of time and well orchestrated at the port and on the ship.

The crew on the ship was always in good spirits and the level of service far exceeded anything I would have expected. I worked in Forbes 5 star restaurants as a server for a decade and the service was top notch. The staff was friendly, fun, professional, and somehow even remembered guest's names after a few days. There was a bartender that always referred to me by name as soon as I walked up (this says something about me on this cruise, haha). I wish that they were candidates I receive when interviewing because I would honestly hire any of them I interacted with.

The COVID testing procedures and flow to get on the ship were HIGHLY coordinated and well-executed.
