Excellent large ship, although I find the smaller ships to be much more enjoyable because they seem so much less crowded. Experience was typical of my expectations for NCL.

Ship's officers and crew were very welcoming, which notably helped enhance the experience. Particularly noteworthy service was received from Vanessa O (bar waitress), Wayan R (Waiter), Minellie P (bar waitress), and I Kadek P (waiter).

The food in the main dining rooms and the Garden Cafe buffet was very good. Cagney's and Le Bistro were excellent, but the quality seems to have decreased in recent years. My primary complaint was the excessively large meat portions (to me). Only the Filet Mignon was offered in both a regular and a small size (which the waiter unfortunately dissuaded me from - and I couldn't finish it despite how tasty it was). I would very much prefer if the menu offered SMALLER CUTS OF PRIME MEAT instead of (or in addition to) larger cuts of Choice meat. Deserts and coffee at the specialty restaurants are notably better than their counterparts at the regular dining venues.

Aruba

Aruba was the highlight of the port call experience.
