We weren't sure what to expect due to COVID but Norwegian handled embarkation/testing extremely well in LA. Entertainment was not as robust as on other NCL cruises, presumably because of the pandemic. Capacity was limited to less than 50% - about a 1:1 ratio of staff to passengers! While this made a big difference with our previous experience on the crowded Escape a few years ago, I think the design and layout of Bliss would handle a full load much better. Suite on deck 15 and common spaces were excellent.

Of note, we had the opportunity to have conversations with staff and with those that had been quarantined on board (for 5 months!), they spoke very highly of NCL's handling of the crisis and their needs compared with what they had heard from peers on other cruise lines. That says a lot about the company and will keep us loyal to NCL.
