We had already cruised 4 times since June 2021, once with MSC, once with P&O, twice with Princess, but Cunard has always been our favourite, we are Diamond Loyalty with Cunard, so we were really looking forward to this 12 night cruise around the Western Mediterranean, however we were quite disappointed.

If the aim of your cruise is to just read books, sleep and eat, then you would find it meets your needs, but if you still wish to maintain contact with the outside world and catch up with some of the latest films then forget it.

The ship is beginning to show its age, it is still very stately, but its architecture is now out of date and technically everything needs to be updated. On a winter cruise you are often kept inside, due to adverse weather conditions, so things like WIFI and a choice of TV programmes are to may people quite essential, unless you just want to read books.
