I have sailed with HAL for the past sixteen years. Do realize thing change and not for better but this was dreadful! Service & provisions are bare minimum. HAL cut out a lot of things, small & large, that used to make it to stand out of all large cruise lines. Smell of cigarette smoke from the casino spread out through the ship. YUK! Cabin was barely cleaned: dust all around, dirty drapes, poorly planed furniture, TV signal was bad, TV programs are old and uninteresting. Plus, had to get creative to watch TV because the angle it was hanged. Who designed that? Smell of urine and sticky floors in the bathrooms, toiletries that were supposed to be provided on daily bases needed to be ask for, shower size is too small. Restaurants food and choice of dishes subpar. No art show as before, no movie theater. No Royal Tea event. No passed passengers appreciation event. Neptune lounge had minimal choice of appetizers and snacks. Package "have it all" is bate and switch: free wi-fi did not work, choice of excursions was limited, found nothing interesting, lost $100 per person allowance as was not permitted to apply to something else. Even traditional two coasters to memorize the sail was limited to one! Only two night of pillow chocolates. It is not a big deal but so petty on HAL behalf. Was looking forward to a first after pandemic cruise experience, paid nearly $8K for this rather sad experience. Apparently, HAL does not appreciate loyalty.
