Although I enjoyed this cruise it was not the same standard as the Spirit of Discovery. The pick up was excellent and quickly went through testing check in and boarding. The same could not be said about departure where the taxi driver yet again went to the wrong terminal and I was left waiting a long time. The ship is similar to discovery. Booking of speciality restuarants differs, you can only book 1 and go on the wait list for the other restaurants. I found out from other passengers you can get booked on the day if you go to restaurant as they do not contact you about free tables. The food for breakfast and lunch was very good but evening meals very disappointing. Steaks very tough, food cold, vegetables had not seen any heat must have been taken out of fridge. Ice cream was crystallised and served on hot plate.

The excursions were well organised and it was good that you could wander around by yourself.

Covid precautions good on the whole but some gel dispensers where empty and they did always ensure people sanitised at lunch times. Read more
