Charter cruise/music experience on a cruise.
I've sailed on many ships to many locations. While the charter piece of this cruise was extremely well done, NCL was horrible as a provider of the sailing experience. Sailed on the The Gem. Again, I realize this was a charter and an old smaller ship so my comments take that into consideration.
Food: Horrible, tasteless, always cold and items re-used in many food station. The same "sausages" were used at breakfast lunch and dinner. Even served in the specialty space as the Brazilian Steak House. Same sausage rolled in salt and five spice to be called an "Asian meat roll".
Disgusting. Only two electric outlets on opposite side of room from bed. No clocks. Sheets smelly. Carpet designed to hide stains, but still filthy to the eye. Balcony chairs very uncomfortable. A matter of fact, not ONE comfortable chair or bar stool on the entire ship. Bathroom too small to utilized-had to use public space restrooms. TP so thin it was less than tissue paper. Cabin service staff very nice and accommodating.
