The pre-cruise experience was horrendous, thanks to an app that insisted for 7 months that I needed to add my credit card info even though you could see the credit card info on the app. After numerous calls and emails to support, I was eventually told that a rep would be able to add my card to the system at check-in on embarkation day. Sadly, the rep couldn't comprehend what the problem was, when all she had to do was a simple swipe of my credit card.

Once we got that nonsense out of the way, it was a only a short wait before we could board the ship.

Since the ship was only at 50% occupancy, upon boarding, I went to guest services to ask if any upgrades were available, either complimentary or paid, and the young man behind the counter said, "of course" and assigned us a lovely mid-ship mini suite.
