The pre-cruise experience was horrendous, thanks to an app that insisted for 7 months that I needed to add my credit card info even though you could see the credit card info on the app. After numerous calls and emails to support, I was eventually told that a rep would be able to add my card to the system at check-in on embarkation day. Sadly, the rep couldn't comprehend what the problem was, when all she had to do was a simple swipe of my credit card.

Once we got that nonsense out of the way, it was a only a short wait before we could board the ship.

Since the ship was only at 50% occupancy, upon boarding, I went to guest services to ask if any upgrades were available, either complimentary or paid, and the young man behind the counter said, "of course" and assigned us a lovely mid-ship mini suite. In return, I slipped him a lovely gratuity. (We had only paid for an aft inside)

Port Reviews

Cabo San Lucas

It's hard to walk 2 steps without someone trying to sell you something. I never said no thank you so many times in one day.

Mazatlan

We booked a private tour with Maria's happy Horses. For $40 per person, you are met at the port, taken by taxi for a short ride to the water taxi, and then another short taxi to the beach on Stone Island where you enjoy a 1 hour ride.

Also included is a drink at Lety's after your ride. We then opted to order lunch there as well. The coconut shrimp was fabulous.
