This was our first cruise post covid shut downs. Ncl canceled our original Boston to bermuda cruise and 3 others due to covid. We had booked the joy out of Miami for the same week, we had a haven suite and of course they canceled that on us without explanation. Since we had that week scheduled off from work the Breakaway out of NYC is what we rebooked. They jacked the prices and we now had to take a club balcony, no haven and an extra 300 to change flights.

A few weeks before boarding we find out about bermudas 75 dollar per person non refundable travel authorization fees and testing requirements. Add another 300 and time running around to get testing done.

Now for 2 weeks prior the kids did remote school and we didn't go anywhere other than work, pcr test are negative and we even took antigen test the day before the cruise just to be safe before leaving for the port, all negative.

Family Mini-Suite with Balcony

Original club balcony suite was small, shower was nice. Balcony was tiny.
