We scheduled this cruise because we like to cruise over Halloween and because it was close enough for us to drive to the port. We enjoyed ourselves and didn't get into any trouble. ;)

PROs: Dining room food was pretty good. Our waiters, Rajesh and Rakesh were great! Ice show was pretty impressive. Service in other parts of the ship was excellent, as well. The staff seemed very excited to be back working and they wanted to make sure that everyone had a great experience while on the ship. Husband really enjoyed the variety of weights and machines in the fitness center.

CONs: Still doing the Saturday Night Fever show (come on, Royal...). Ship could use an overall update - very worn and tired. Several people on our cruise had trouble with their toilets not working or overflowing. The buffet was not open for dinner for this cruise. So, if you didn't like the main dining room menu one night, the only other free options were pizza or the cafe promenade. There was not a huge variety of food selections in the Windjammer. Seemed like they just served a variation of the same thing every day rather than different entrees.

Cabin Review

We were Close to the elevators; but they didn't bother us noise-wise. Nice, big balcony with two loungers, two chairs, and a small table.
