It tool a very long time to finally get on the ship from September last year. With all the hype we could not help being excited to cruise again especially on the NEW Mardi Gras. Right at the start. We were really disappointed. We have been diamond for a very long time. Next cruise will be the 50th on Carnival. No Priority boarding unless you had a suite. 1-1/2 hours to get on the ship. I am not going to talk all about the perks that have been changed or deleted or almost are nothing now. None for the good. We felt downgraded. Chicken twice a day every day plus Big Chicken. A bit much. All the food was average including Big Chicken as usual on any Carnival ship. Fahrenheit 555 and the steak was great as usual. Just the steak. Everything else was so, so. The free wine this time was not good at all. Guy's burgers being on its own deck I think was a big mistake. Outside of the buffet were it usually is, is a far better choice. The new soft serve machines have a major problem with the handles. So Big and in the way of seeing what you are doing. It comes out to fast it is almost impossible not to make a big mess. So many did. A big waste of ice cream. So be very careful. If you love ALL the music so loud that you need to scream to your friend. It is your kind of music. ALL the singers were excellent. The shows were boring, repetitious. Halloween was the best ever.

8 times a day comedian shows. A bit much. They even told you the next one is the same. The magician was a joke. Lots of show. Magic was very old.

The state room was a ocean view and very, very nice. However any large person WILL have a problem in the very small bath room. They easily could have made it a lot larger. Much unused area in the cabin. Masks were required in doors and was requested over and over. However, distancing. No way. As usual, people crammed into the elevators. Since when do they allow people to walk around with a small dog in there arms. Also in the MDR. ALL the employees were excellent. That was certainly a plus. The ship was kept nice and clean. The layout of the ship is a bit scattered. So you will either love it or hate it.
