This was my 19th cruise and my third solo room. It was my first solo room on MSC. This was the best single person room I have stayed in. It was compact but well designed and had room to move around unlike a Norwegian solo with no floor space. The main reason I am writing this review is to post the pics of the room. The staff was fantastic but since we had 842 people on a ship that had a capacity of over 5600 that could be because there were so few people (and potential tippers) onboard. It was almost a problem because we had 3-4 waiters for our table of two at dinner in the dining room and at least 2-3 employees would approach me at the buffet table to "chat" with me. I would stop eating to chat with them but my food got cold. It was great that they seated me with another solo traveler so I had someone to talk to during dinner in the dining room. They monitored mask usage very closely which was good. One very bad thing, due to covid they did not offer transportation from the ship to the airport at the end of the cruise! I had to scramble to find something but my dinner companion saved the day and I hitched a ride on his transport. Overall it was fantastic to get back to cruising and I enjoyed every minute of it.
This was the best solo cabin out of the three I have stayed in across three cruise lines. It was compact yet you could move around and had enough storage.
