Sail away from Coco Cay

This cruise was booked as a surprise for my husband’s birthday, and every single part of it lived up to its expectations.

Embarkation-

The new process was managed incredibly well. The vaccination cards and negative test were verified at multiple steps to ensure everyone was in compliance. This was important to us, and a reason we were happy to sail. We were through the terminal and onboard in about 30 minutes which I found very impressive considering all of the extra steps.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Balcony

We had 5 balcony rooms right on the bump out section near the midship elevators. Zero noise complaints even though we were close. And the view was stunning. The ship isn’t the newest and I’m never a huge fan of cruise ship bathrooms. But this room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Bring a cruise approved multi plug to help with all of todays plug in devices.

Port Reviews

Nassau

Not a fan of Nassau in general, however the construction of the new terminal looks to be progressing nicely and we still ventured off to check out the stores and grabbed a beer in a bar near the port.

Perfect Day at CocoCay

Amazing amenities included for free, I’d never pay the obnoxiously high prices for the island extras.

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Honestly an amazing home port for those based on central florida. Only 1 hour from MCO and 90 minutes to the Orlando theme parks.
