Sail Date: Oct 2021

This was a post Covid vacation on my favorite cruise lines. The Panorama, being new, was an exciting option. The boarding process was similar to the early 2000's with long lines that moved slowly, only to show ID that previously was handled in a single transaction at the terminal entry point. Honestly, this was a step way back! My previous cruises embarkation was just a few minutes.

The ship is new and very large. It was great to look around and see all of the Lido activities and state rooms. But nothing innovative or "new." Actually, it was more sterile and shopping oriented than any other line I have sailed.

The dining was a difficult one to see: The main dining room was the same menu we have seen for years and years...really getting boring, especially with their huge talent pool to pull from. The Italian and Asian specialty restaurants were just average. Even the Pig and Anchor, Guy's special restaurant, served dry smoked meats and sides that tasted canned.

Cabin Review

It was smaller than my previous experiences on other classes of this cruise line
