Chose this cruise because of price. We have been on 12 Carnival cruises and 5 NCL. I am not sure about all the negative reviews for food, we had as good of service and food as the other lines. Yes the staff will pester you the first two days about drink packages and specialty dining, but really the other lines are pushing drinks and other items. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Yes there are Covid related changes and procedures that are in place for everyone's protection. If you go on board with an open mind and want to have a fun vacation it will happen. The only negatives were the pre-cruise communications from MSC corporate and the lack of signage at Port Miami, ship was in a different terminal and parking was a bit complicated. Once we were onboard we had a great time. The ship is quite stunning, the dome show is awesome. The bottom line is that whatever line you are on there are sometimes issues, would we go on another MSC cruise? Yes.
