Like so many people during the pandemic, we were playing the cancelled-reschedule game for months,
waiting to see which cruise would be the one to finally allow us to sail. It turned out to be a back-to-
back on the Norwegian Gem, going to the Eastern Caribbean one week, Western Caribbean the next.

Cabin location is great for anyone who wants to be close to midship elevators. We could hear the
occasional ding of the elevator bell, but not loudly enough to be annoying. The cabin itself looked fresh
& spotless. The mattress was comfortable, but we didn’t use the foldout couch or the drop-down bunk
in front of the balcony door (which are intended to sleep the 3rd & 4th passengers.)
