This was my 24th cruise overall with 3/4 of them on Carnival ships. We were a group of 4 (55-73 yrs old) in side by side cabins with our balconies "connected" by a simple request from our Cabin Steward.

Overall we enjoyed our cruise on the Mardi Gras... We asked around and were told it was sailing at 60% capacity during our time onboard.

They could definitely improve the Embarkation by installing more covered area outside so you don't have to wait in the hot sun. Also, it was not marked well which line to get into for the different Boarding Times so that should also be addressed. We opted for Self-Assist to Debark - it started earlier than stated which was a nice surprise and was pretty quick to get off the ship. I don't know anything about how the regular debarkation went.
