Overall, we really enjoyed this cruise. We have never booked a transatlantic cruise, so this was a first for us. We sailed with about 1200 guests due to COVID restrictions, all US passport holders. Smooth sailing for 2 weeks and the service was extraordinary. Ship is new and spectacular! Ports were very restrictive due to Covid, masks required everywhere for the first week and then, after negative tests before the transatlantic phase, we were allowed to go without masks on the ship. We had Cabin , which is an Edge Villa. Beautiful but not for people who don’t like stairs! The Retreat was nice, but we didn’t really care for the lounge area. Seemed small and crowded compared to other celebrity ships. Only big complaint: Celebrity advertises “tax and duty free” shops. Not true, we had to pay duty for a watch we bought onboard! We were apparently “randomly” chosen from a list of people who had spent over a certain limit that the ship reports to customs. We nearly missed our flight due to being held up in customs.
, two stories and gorgeous. Outside spa tub on the private veranda. This Villa was unfortunately next to a room that contained some machinery (for the pool filtration?) that came on after midnight for several hours, right next to the bedroom wall. We complained, they looked into it, and it was never resolved. So don’t go for this cabin unless you’re a sound sleeper!
