We chose this cruise because Cunard cancelled their Barcelona - Singapore cruise and then MSC changed its itinerary to skip BCN after we booked. Costa was the only choice.
We are not anti-Costa as all of our 12+ cruises have been with the Carnival family of cruise lines including a previous Costa cruise. BUT the reception people were arrogant and the service in the dining room was terrible (but the waiters were friendly). The itinerary was changed but we did not receive notice of it even though we booked an excursion from the port that was skipped.
After a couple of days, we had no confidence that an answer to a question was accurate. we were told to download the Costa app BUT at our required Muster, we were told the app could not be downloaded to an American phone. Further, Costa Club specials were not specific as to where they applied - especially ice creams specials. Then our bill was incorrect and when we asked for a printed copy, we were told Costa des not give them. It was reluctantly printed out when we mentioned we could not download the app..
