My husband and I booked this cruise for our one year anniversary. We decided to try a different cruise line as we have only traveled on Carnival before. The ship was really nice, the food was amazing, and the service was even better. The room was really nice, my only problem I had with the room was the cleaning staff's schedule. If you were not gone by the time they were ready to clean your room would not get cleaned until that night. We had dirty dishes in our room for an entire day even after calling room service to come and pick them up twice. We ate in the Pinnacle Grill for our anniversary and wished we had just went to the regular dining room because we felt the food was much better in the dining room than it was in their fine dining establishment. We did book excursions for every port and I am so happy we did because for our age, there was not much for us to do. Yes, we went to the bars, yes we hung out at the pool, but besides these things there was not much for us to do. Even events where they would say if you are under 18 you had to leave, there was no one to enforce it. That's the one thing I must say about Carnival, you had to show id to get into the "club" and if you weren't 18 you weren't getting in. Overall we had a great time, but I do wish the entertainment on board was better. For people our age (27), who don't party much but do like to have a good time, there was not much for us to do. So there were many nights we were just in the room watching movies. How many times can you win a game of wii bowling before you get bored, I can do that at home.
