Went on this ship out of New Orleans.........FANTASTIC time. I always feel bad for the people on this and other "review" boards that just HAVE to find something to complain about. I've been on 10 Carnival cruises and enjoyed every one of 'em. I've been blessed to have been able to go on many, many vacations, from Italy for a week to Disney to a weekend at the beach, and OF COURSE I could find SOMETHING to complain about, but WHY BE SO MISERABLE.

Anywho....the Dream as is all the Carnival ships, provides high energy fun. There is a Serenity deck that allows you some quiet time if that's your thing (its adults only). Food is awesome (so many choices...and again, I love to read "we couldn't find anything good to eat" comments on these reviews.....misery loves company so hopefully these type of people always have an equally-as miserable person to share their miserable time with) with MANY many choices. Make sure if you're a couple you try the Steakhouse. Couple of extra bucks (reserve a night and time beforehand on the Carnival site or their app) but worth it IF you want to do something a little special. Comedy club was a blast, and we played in the casino a bit (don't bet what you can't afford to lose, as in any casino) and had fun doing that too.

Staff is ALWAYS amazing.....I still am always in awe that we walk on the ship and the stewards for our room know our names. Read more
