Sail Date: Sep 2021

This was the second sailing out of Greece after an 18 month shutdown, so we decided to jump on board. The ship is beautifully maintained with great venues. We especially enjoyed the BB King Blues Club with the BB King All Star Band. This band could play anything. Each night was a different theme like Mo Town, Pop, Rock N Roll and so on. We did stop by the Bill Board on Broadway and enjoyed the dueling pianos one evening and also stopped by Lincoln Center Stage another evening. We also liked the fact that HAL serves the food items in the Lido Buffet. They were especially careful during this cruise due to the pandemic, but this fabulous service was not much different than the other cruises that we have gone one with HAL. Dining room service was excellent, but the menu was not as extensive as the past. We are hoping this was due to the start up after being shut down for so long. The pool areas were very nice and it was fabulous to be able to go at any time of the day and find a chair due to limited capacity of just 35%. Overall, we had a great time and enjoyed the ports of Rhodes, Cyprus, Mykonos and Nafplio.
