We booked this cruise as a last-minute deal, on Monday before we departed on the Friday, we had been excited to try the Sky Princess as we had enjoyed the Royal Princess so much a few years back.

We arrived at our scheduled arrival time at Southampton for departure, the COVID testing was completed quickly and after a 25-minute wait, we were ready to head to the Green Line and receive our medallions. After going through a very simple security check we were walking onto the ship, total time around 1 hour including the wait for the testing results.

You board on deck 5 which brings you into the Piazza which as per other ships is a stunning introduction, the staff was very welcoming and clapped us onto the ship, which was a nice touch.
