Virgin Cruise lines is like no other cruise line. This is an adult only 18+ cruise that offers adult oriented shows and entertainment. With the onboard casino, late night shows and adult themed activities. Don’t be expecting any cruise directors to be planning trivia games every hour like most cruise lines or lots of different wine, beer, liquor tastings. While there is trivia and tastings, the availability fills up quite fast. The biggest flaw I ran into with virgin was not having the availability for a lot of guests to participate in shows, activities, dining and entertainment due to it being full already (even though ship is at half capacity). The biggest frustration of all though was the check in/Covid testing prior to boarding. I showed up 45 minutes before my time slot and there were still people waiting from the hour before time slot. It took a total of 2 hours to finally board the ship and an hour of that was outside. By the time I got on ship, I was rushed to do safety with life vests and after that, all reservations that opened “once you board ship” were Gone.
Overall, virgin had amazing food and amazing shows. But not a lot of variety in entertainment and horrible booking availability.
I would book again though because of how amazing staff was, how well the food tasted and the shows they do have are phenomenal
Amazing cabin. Plenty of room in living area. Smallest bathroom however I ever encountered on a cruise line.
Bimini was beautiful. Large pool area and large Beach with plenty of seating. Food was great. Everything was clean. Only complaint was the bar ran out of juice halfway through the day for mixers.
