Delicious desserts in the Galley!

I chose this cruise to try the Virgin Voyages experience/concept. It exceeded my expectations particularly in the areas of service and dining. The crew/staff were absolutely amazing all over the ship but especially in the dining venues. The food was amazing in every area from pizza, ice cream, coffee, desserts, Galley, restaurants - just fantastic. Not a bad bite all week!

The overall vibe is very fun with an open feeling. If you wanted to dress up, you could and if you wanted to stay casual, you could. Saw many interesting outfits on Scarlet night along with many who did not dress up. For the most part, in the more formal dining areas - The Wake & Extra Virgin - most dressed a little more but there is no formal night nor requirement.

Pool areas are clean with lots of seating on Deck 15 and right above on Deck 16. Bars easily accessible in both areas. Towels are not a check in/check out kind of thing. They place one towel on each lounger in the mornings and there's a stand for more.

Cabin Review

Although nicely appointed in a modern minimalistic European style, the beds were slightly hard and once split into two twins, the one against the wall has no headboard so pillows slide all over the place while trying to sleep. Bathroom is very tight - open the shower door into the shower for added room when getting out of the shower. Plenty of storage space but cube hangers if you like to unpack everything. The pad controls lights, air, and the tv - pretty nifty and interesting. Hammock is an excellent option for lounging on the balcony.
