The Wake desserts, yum!
Even some of the bathrooms have crazy views!

The first time I heard that Virgin was going to have their own cruise line I was so excited and couldn’t wait till we could get on a boat. Would’ve been easier had it left from Galveston since we’re based in Dallas, but decided to take my wife on a surprise vacation and we flew from Dallas to Miami the day before the cruise to set sail.

The check-in process, though relatively smooth, was very long because of the added issues of having to be COVID tested and (from what we were told) a computer malfunction. Though I don’t hold any of that against Virgin!

After getting on the boat, we soon realized that this isn’t like ANY other boat we’ve been on, it’s a beautiful very well designed boat. It feels like you’re in a boutique hotel on the water. Super cool spaces, bars, restaurants, and little areas to just chill. The exterior of the boat (upper open decks) are also awesome. Tons of lounge chairs around the pools, and super cool soft double occupancy lounge pads around the rim of the large pool. The two pools are a little small for the sailor capacity of the ship, but we were a little over half capacity on this cruise (thanks COVID) so it wasn’t bad on our cruise.
