This was a chance to get back on a ship and get our feet wet. First time on the Majestic. Our last cruise on a Royal Class was on the Royal Princess. We liked the improved sitting areas on the lido deck. The wicker chairs are a nice alternative to loungers.

We liked the crew serving us at the buffet. The ship was a third full so maybe it will be much busier with more people in the buffet. It was better and safer without people reaching in and dropping food or getting their sleeves etc in the food. It also helps people from taking too much food and wasting it.

We had a balcony on Riviera deck. A nice cabin with the flat screen tv. The shower is a nice size. At first the cabin seemed a little small but once we got used to it, it was ok. The balcony is not as deep as per all the newer ships. You have to really sit at an angle now.
