We booked this cruise last minute as we really needed a break from the rain back home, COVID-19 stress and the continuous lock down measures. MSC offered a great deal; book a select stateroom and get another one for free for your family. So we know we will cruise in a safe bubble, not get off the ship but just enjoy the company, the food, the sun light and have some fun!!

It was absolutely fantastic, the ship looked great and was not sailing at full capacity so you could find nice spots all over the place. The Theater was open and great shows already on the first night, I felt alive again. But the biggest bonus were the pool parties at night. My kids (19 and 16) had the time of their live, dancing the night away at the pool deck, no masks required as there was enough space to keep distance in the open air. The DJ's were spinning and it felt all the guests wanted to make up the lost time by dancing. My parents enjoyed the bar at the backend of the ship, overlooking the sea, play a game, have a chat and it all felt really relaxed after such a challenging period of the pandemic.

During the day, the mid-pool actually already transformed into an exciting club with music, a great entertainment team with unlimited energy to make this a great cruise. So for families of all ages, travelling with teenagers, this was an absolute treat. Read more
