This high!

I had the absolute pleasure to be on board for the Maiden Voyage of the SS Sphinx and the first for the crew in a very long time, so much so that when passing communities there were cheers, and each boat we passed greeted with horn blasts, a real celebration.

The decor of the ship has been matched perfectly with the traditional vibrant colours, textures and designs that are synonymous with Egyptian culture.

This was the first cruise for the amazing staff since the Covid shut down and every member of the crew from housekeeping to Captain, to dishwasher or the engineers were attentive, friendly and professional going above and beyond to provide superb service.

Cabin Review

Grand Suite

The brand new ship was a dream, the spacious staterooms have ceiling to floor windows and are fitted out in a style that complimented the art and designs of Egypt. Windows could be wide open to let the evening breeze through or closed for privacy by ornate wooden shutters. The decor of the ship has been matched perfectly with the traditional vibrant colours and textures that are synonymous with Egyptian culture. The bed was super comfortable and the pillows luxurious...Egyptian cotton.
