From the second I set foot onto the Gorgeous Scarlet Lady, I was in love, elated, invigorated and basically the best version of myself. I am not sure if it was the “no kids” policy (took me a while to wrap my head around that pre-voyage) or the vibrant interior design or the genral vibe of the boat, but for 3 days and nights I felt like “me”! A me that I had forgotten existed. There was not one pressure or expectation or judgment on this boat. I was pampered and indulged from beginning to end.
The cabin was weirdly spacious- and I have been on around 7 cruises so I know cabins! It had everything I needed, and fit myself and husband in it with room to spare! The bathroom shower pressure was insane! Seriously, please ask the questions plumber to come sort out my shower at home. Towels, blankets, delish smelling soaps and hair products all available for my indulgence and all smelt like heaven.
Talking of heaven…the food! Omg, the food! I had it all! From morning to night I nibbled my way around the boat. Healthy, not so healthy and food that should come with a warning label (eat this and you won’t be able to stop) was available night and day. Beautifully presented and so flavorful that I may have to move permanently into that ship!
