My husband and I were thrilled to book one of the American Melody's first river cruises as it debuted on the Mississippi!

It exceeded our expectations! The ship is beautifully appointed and when we relaxed on the 4th floor outside deck we could almost imagine we were on our own private yacht...with a staff to guest ratio of approximately 2 to 1 we were guaranteed to have phenomenal service!

Beginning our cruise in Red Wing, MN, we were aware of our own excited anticipation as well as the townspeople who came to see "the new ship!' It was the same at each port of call we went to - locals on the banks admiring American Cruise Line's latest addition to their fleet.

Cabin Review

These rooms far exceed any that I have ever experienced on countless ocean cruises - no shortage of space for storage and relaxing!
