I chose this cruise because I have been to 48 countries and several US states but dreamed about visiting Eastern Europe. My experience with Viking was great. The service is outstanding.. Sonya; the program director makes sure, the guests feel at home. she makes sure all your needs are met. She’s always willing to help and answer any questions about shore excursions, or any other issue. She tries to make sure the elderly and the handicapped feel welcomed. Viking cleans your cabin twice a day ( thank you Ivana you did an excellent job in keeping our cabin sparking clean )and makes sure, all passengers get tested daily for Covid. The food was great and you are served wine and sodas during lunches and dinners. The shore excursions are very informative, including those that are free. I will definitely travel with Viking in the future. Even though, I only mentioned Sonya and Ivana, the entire crew was helpful and courteous. Viking cruises have representatives helping guests throughout your voyage; at the airport during arrivals and departures, at the hotels, transfers, ship, shore excursions etc etc therefore there’s very little chance something will go wrong. If passengers can’t get off in some ports is not Viking fault. Some countries are not allowing Visitors due to Covid. Thank You Viking for a great time.
