Booked this 10 day cruise around the British Isles in order to kill 2 birds with one stone, to having a lovely luxurious cruise and visiting 5 destinations with the objective of visiting a 1 or 2 locations, we had not been to, at each port of call.

It turned out that we had a luxury cruise that was excellent in terms of staff, meals, entertainment and cabin but not going ashore for 10 days was like a luxury 10 day jail sentence . It wasn't made clear enough before a booking was made and not until we were on the boat that unless I pre booked a tour from the ship this would be the only way we would be allowed on shore at Invergordon, Liverpool, Belfast & Greenock, but only to visit Cunards preference of destination.

If I had known this from the onset of booking, I would never have booked this cruise and waited till a future date when this restriction is lifted but the opportunity has gone.
