The crew on Scenic Azure were literally fantastic. This was billed as a five star cruise and I must say it was truly six star cruising. We are experienced and regular cruisers on both ocean and river, and we have never been treated so well on any cruise or by and cruise company. The answer was yes - before the question asked.

The Douro has the most lovely scenery and the quality of the entertainments staff and tour guides really brought the whole area to life. Visiting cultural areas, vineyards and port makers, pretty villages, and sampling local music and produce was a real treat.

Beautiful ship, lovely food, excellent wine and beverages, interesting and informative trips, beautiful scenery and top quality staff. I strongly recommend both Scenic, and this excellent trip on a lovely ship. The cruise exceeded our expectations and was only let down by the appalling service (or rather lack of it) we received from our Travel Agent ROL. Top tip - Book direct!
