We flew into FLL the day before and stayed at Holiday Inn Express. Took an Uber to the port for $8 which was a 10 minute ride. Embarkation was a breeze and we were on the ship eating lunch within 20 minutes! Luggage had already been delivered when we went to our cabin so that was really efficient as well.

The entire crew went out of their way to make us feel welcome and for the first time ever, the officers would seek us out and stop to visit. Several employees remembered our names from day one and always called us by our first names from that point on. Amazing service!! The ship was spotless and we felt very safe….they always had someone wiping down surfaces, handing out sanitizer and even had restroom attendants making sure the stalls and sink areas were immaculate!

Food was the best we have ever had in the buffet and so many choices in the various stations throughout. Food in the MDR was good too but after 12:days, it became a bit redundant…..But no complaints and the service was outstanding! We ate at a specialty restaurant (Tuscan Grill) for the first time and found it to be an excellent way to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary!! Wonderful four course dinner with amazing staff.

Cabin Review

We were in a balcony cabin on the 8th floor. We found the cabin to have more than ample storage and discovered two empty cupboards above the sofa that was never used! Our stateroom attendant Norma was so sweet and did an excellent job at keeping our cabin immaculate! Plus we came home one night to find our cabin decorated with balloons, roses, streamers and a bottle of wine for our anniversary!
