We chose this cruise because we wanted to experience cruising again and thought a four-night sea cation would be a great place to start. We were certainly not disappointed. The crew were warm, welcoming and very attentive. Our stateroom, at the front of the ship, had a good-sized balcony, with amazing views. The service in the restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner was excellent. The menus, paper copies handed out at each meal to guests once seated, offered a good selection and we were pleased with all of the meals we received. The ‘Medallion’ is an excellent replacement for the cruise card and it worked faultlessly in unlocking the stateroom door, in the shops and when ordering drinks at lunch and dinner.

The only downside was the ‘Medallion App’, especially the ‘Ocean Now’ feature which for us never got beyond ‘loading’ so therefore we could not order food/drinks using this feature! However, it was easy to hail a passing waiter. Before sailing, we used the ‘Dine My Way’ to book the same table each night in the restaurant. Unfortunately this request never reached the dining room! Princess really do need to sort out the ‘Medallion App’ technology so that it is 100% reliable. Other guests had similar issues.
