We have long had a desire to take a Mississippi river cruise its entire length, from Minneaolis to New Orleans. After a couple of outstanding river cruises in Europe, we were excited to try something in our home country. Cruises that travel the entire rivers are rare, most are sold as seven day/half river cruise. So we booked this based on research and itinerary. We do wish that later cruises were offered (ie October) to take advantage of fall foilage, but understand that low ater levels can cause port issues.

The cruise included a pre-cruise hotel night in the Raddison at the Mall of America. Nice hotel, nice room. Check in process and required covid test was easy. Turns out all passengers tested negative.

The embarkation process was also easy, and our bags were delievered to our rooms before we arrived. (Picked up in hotel room at 8am)
