Prego Specialty Restaurant (Italian) Mushroom Soup in a Bread bowl. My wife favorite of anything on the cruise.

NOTE: My spelling and grammar are horrible. I am told that on Social Media all the time. Please look past that in this review. I attempted to go above and beyond with my story. I hope you enjoy it and it helps you.

It Did Not Start Well: 8-Days prior to leaving, my wife go "Break Through Covid". Mild case but forced us to cancel. She got back her taste and smell after 7 days. Please folks, buy good Travel Insurance. It is worth every single penny. Yes, I have a credit card that provides trip cancellation and interruption coverage. Please use good business judgement.

Why I Choose Crystal Cruises: I wanted to take our first Luxury and use it as a "Luxury Cruise Test Drive". Crystal was recommended by my travel agent. Crystal was also one of the first to announce a Luxury Cruise post-covid out of the Bahamas. I did what most of us do and watched every YouTube video I could find which was very few. I called Crystal Directly with a list of questions. I did not take this decision lightly. If I liked it, it would lead me to book a 45 anniversary "Bucket List Cruise" for 10-14 days in Europe. I also choose Crystal Cruises because the investment was actually less then my normal cruise in the Haven on NCL. That was a major plus and made the decision a "No-Brainer".

Cabin Review

Penthouse Suite with Verandah

Cabin mid-ship, deck 11. I am so fortunate to have had this opportunity which I can thank Crystal Cruises and Covid-19. The guest count was low and I was able to get a discounted paid upgrade which I know is very rare on Crystal Cruises. This Suite (PS) as all Penthouse's comes with a Butler. You may not think you would like or would use a butler. It makes a huge difference. On to the suite.

Over 500 sf with Bedroom (King Sized Bed), Dining Room with two leather chairs and medium sized table perfect for two, large bathroom with double sink, jacuzzi and shower, living area with couch, table as well as chair and a very large veranda. The Veranda had two cushioned chairs with ottoman's. The view was spectacular. There was a single wicker chair also. You could have asked for a two lounge chairs to be brought in and you would have still had plenty of room. That is big.

There was two(2) flat screen TV's which had everything from video's of the speakers, movies and music. The internet on the ship while we were sailing worked well considering we were sailing. All electronics worked very well. There was more storage then my wife and I could ever use and the safe was a very nice size. Plus it had a hug walk in closet with two different types of robes as well as slippers. Fully stocked bar with your personal choices, glasses, plates and mixers all complementary. Coffee machine with cups also. This is a incredible suite and I highly recommend it.

My one and only complaint was you had to step up 4-inches from the entry to the bathroom. One night my wife got her shoe caught and fell. She is fine and maybe it might have had to do with the number of glasses of wine we had that night. Still that is a step you need to be careful off.

If I were to travel Crystal Cruises again, I would book the Penthouse (PH) with veranda which is smaller then this suite. We just did not need all the room and it would be a cost saving for sure. However, if we took a "Third" with us, we would stay with the Penthouse Suite (PS) as I have reviewed above.
