Ate at the French Restaurant - excellent !
Best bar (in my opinion) on the ship
Glacier Bay

We had a wonderful time on the Majestic. Travel for us was relatively easy - short flight from Burbank Ca to Seattle. While we were a little disappointed that we had to wear masks on the ship it turned out to not really be a big issue.

Pick up from airport was with Princess and we did have to wait a little while for the bus, the time passed quickly. As soon as we got to the port we were processed through all the steps required to get on the ship - since we had done all our work on the new medallion app it was easy. A short stop to show ID and proof of vaccination and we were waived through to enter the ship!

Greeted with cheers from the crew and we felt like celebrities. Cabins were not yet open so we stopped for lunch at Alfredo's. Oh how I missed this pizza over the last 18 months.

Cabin Review

On these larger ships we like to have a balcony at the very front of the ship on Deck 8. The balcony is larger but obstructed with a metal plate instead of glass but you still get a very good view from the balcony. The balconies in general are but E101 thru E117 and on the opposite side E102 through 118 are very large. We had a small couch in our room which is perfect for relaxing a bit. Bathrooms are regular ship size - compact with shower curtains (which they had glass). No complaints on our cabin, we would book any of these cabins again in a heartbeat
