We original chose this cruise as we were interested in the Virgin cruise philosophy and we wanted to sail on a brand new boat. We were generally impressed with the general layout of the ship and the cleanliness and efficiency of the facilities. We thought the layout of the bars was good and the drinks on offer were varied and reasonably priced, although we felt there was a shortage of popular white wine options, probably because we were on the 6th of 7 short cruises. We particularly like the layout of the galley and felt this was far better than the typical buffet restaurants on other ships. We ate at the Wake, Pink Agave and the Geonbae restaurants and found the food quality and service was very good in all three. We had breakfast at Razzle Dazzle and the Wake and enjoyed both. The only point of criticism we would raise was the size of the pool areas and these appeared small and cramped. In principle the App was a good idea, but it did not always work and was misleading with regard to booking entertainment. Abi the Hostess as good, but other than that we saw no entertainment.
Cabin was obviously clean and we particularly felt the bathroom area was better than a typical cruise ship, the shower was as good as any hotel. The mood lighting/music did not appear to function correctly, however the TV options seemed better than normal. Overall the cabin layout was ok.
