Thought this was safest way for holiday post lockdown. Wheelchair access all over the ship was good. It is rather more difficult to push it on carpeted areas. There was no problem with lifts as the ship was only half full.Other passengers were kind offering their places in the lifts. Rule of four was adhered to.
Covid testing was fine and we were on the ship within an hour and a half.
Staff were friendly and helpful except for the lady at Loyalty desk where we went to last day to enquire about future cruises. She was very dismissive and said there were no deals and no appointments with consultants. We thought she was quite rude and not a good advertisement for P and O.
Well planned cabin, but could have done with being a wee bit bigger. it was a bit tight between bed and wall, also not much room between bed and wardrobe. Bed was a bit high for someone who is only 4ft 10 inches tall.
Apart from that bed was comfortable and plenty of storage space. The lack of drawers didn’t bother us as there was a whole wardrobe of shelves and also other cupboards.Balcony was a good size with reclining chairs.
Appreciated little touches like bedside spotlights and usb plugs, bathroom nightlights and slots above dressing table for paperwork. Fridge was empty, which was good for us as we like to put our own drinks in there. There are hooks for coats, masks etc by entrance door.
Also enjoyed having a sofa by the window, next to which we stored my folding wheelchair..
Bathroom was very well planned, with shelves above basin, plenty of space either side of basin. Bit tight in the shower with shower chair. Lovely big fluffy towels. Ask steward if you want face cloths, tablet soap etc. Steward is happy to oblige. Love the White company big bottles of shower gel and shampoo. Peter, our cabin steward serviced our cabin and left it immaculate
